The bird sanctuary on the east side Dartnall Rd, between Rymal Road and Stonechurch Road (now part of Mount Albion Conservation Area), was originally owned and operated by the Monkley family, and their son, Billy, was the gatekeeper. The waterfall was 'discovered' in 2009 and named after Billy.
