Chedoke Falls

Description

Chedoke Falls is an 18m high ribbon waterfall located on the east branch of the Chedoke Creek.

When development first started on the mountain, Chedoke Creek was routed through an underground culvert to aid in the construction. Unfortunately, this culvert must have been very close to the main sewer draining that area of the mountain as many sewer laterals were connected to it, either by mistake or because it was more convenient. This lends the area a particularly foul odour.

Notes

Access to the gorge is prohibited and there is a high steel fence blocking access from the Chedoke Radial Trail.
